culture.Location of Position:Little Rock, ARThe Position:The Senior
Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for designing,
developing, and managing construction projects from concept to
construction completion. The role ensures projects meet technical
specifications, regulatory guidelines, and client requirements
while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental
standards.Position Responsibilities:
- Understands varying client requirements, manages client
relationships and oversees engineering projects.
- Monitors projects progress, reviews invoices, and prepares
agreements.
- Coordinates design phases with various stakeholders.
- Successfully coordinates internally with Bridgefarmer
staff.
- Mentors less experienced staff and will certify complex
engineering design work, including layouts and specifications.
- Designs infrastructure systems (roads, hydraulics, bridges) and
use computer aided software(s).
- Prepares and seals documents for bidding and construction.
- Provides construction support as projects advance from design
into construction.
- Travels to other offices and projects sites for engineering
reviews and technical support.
- Reviews construction plans, change orders, RFI's and
estimates.
- Conducts site inspections and ensures design compliance.
- Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provides technical advice and delivers compliance reports.
- Estimates cost, ensures compliance, and manages design
timelines and budgets.
- Completes projects on time, within scope, and within
budget.
- Applies project management principles to engineering
projects.
- Assists with new business development.
- Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, with a preference in
Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in engineering design tools.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO type design criteria, industry
regulations, construction materials, and/or structural analysis
