how we operate every day. Weyerhaeuser is searching for a Plant
Engineer to join our new Timberstrand facility in Monticello, AR.
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position and reports directly
to the Mill Manager with a dotted line to the Engineering/ Capital
Director. Key Functions: Works closely with the mill leadership
team, engineering team members and external contractors and vendors
to safely and efficiently implement capital and pool projects
within budgetary guidelines. Willing to work in a true team
environment with a constant slate of projects being implemented. T
Excellent organizational skills to manage daily priorities and
exceptional leadership skills for successful capital and pool
project installations. Lead and facilitate the capital execution
process for the area while organizing and documenting all required
records serving as central process gatekeeper. Advise area leaders
in technology enhancements needed to improve operating performance
and supporting process reliability improvement and strategies.
Update and own hierarchy and assets in our CMMS database. Assist
the mill in fire risk mitigation work. Exceptionally strong safety
values Engineering degree or a diploma in Engineering Technology
required Minimum of seven years of industrial, mechanical, civil,
electrical engineering experience in projects Candidate should have
knowledge of: Safe work practices in an industrial environment
Industrial equipment theory and operation Project management
Scheduling, and purchasing Contractor management A working
knowledge of ACAD and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Knowledge
of and experience leading process reliability practices Knowledge
of or have the ability to learn about industrial process equipment:
baghouse, conveyors, pumps, fans, burners--- Past experience in OSB
plant, chemical plant, pulp & paper or any industrial process
plants is preferred Results oriented personality Ability to work
independently or in a collaborative, team-based environment
Continuous improvement mindset Effective communication skills
Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase
program, and we are targeting a salary range of $106,900 - $160,376
based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You
will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which
offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan
funding may range from zero to two times that target. Benefits :

paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In
addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees
begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven
paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
